The New Zealand Sail One Winter Championships
3rd, 4th & 5th October 2008

Sail One has supported Clubs and junior sailing in NZ for over 20 years and this year we are proud to be the major sponsor for the Winter Championships at Murrays Bay Sailing Club. We have had a long association with Murrays Bay with son Scott sailing there through Opti's, P's and Starlings, organising the 24 Hour Race, serving on Committee and Keith as Rear Commodore.
This event is a great opportunity for us to continue that support and meet with our customers from throughout the country and overseas. We will have our shop on site and we look forward to saying hi to the competitors and their families.
Sail One will be supplying the charter Optimists for the event and these can be booked by emailing us on sailone@sailone.co.nz.
We are sure that everyone attending this regatta will have a great contest on the water and a sociable time ashore.

Optimist Nationals 2009
The 2009 Toyota Opti Nationals will be held over Easter at Worser Bay in Wellington.
Congratulations to Richard and the WBSC.
Thanks to the team who put forward Whitianga as an option, I know everyone I have spoken to appreciated the effort and the idea. And thanks to Russell & the Mercury Bay Boating Club for their enthusiastic response. We will try and secure it for 2010 if we can - this would get us into the 2 year cycle too. Lets hope we can work it!
So let's get in behind Wellington and make this another successful regatta !!
Regards all,
