Last year the Alumni event we scheduled in October had to be cancelled due to Covid restrictions.
With the summer sailing season winding down we are planning an event you won’t want to miss on the evening of Saturday May 22 at MBSC. Details are still to be 100% confirmed but we wanted to provide as early notice as possible of the date so that people can add it to their calendars.
The focus of the night will be on a regatta held recently in Auckland. If you were able to attend our post-Bermuda event you won’t want to miss it. We expect that kick off will be at 6.30 with speakers on stage from 7-7.30 with a bite to eat during the course of the evening.
Tickets for this event are $25 per person with every cent (once the dinner has been paid for) going to support the Club’s operations. For your $25 you’ll be fed, whilst (some of the North Shore’s most keenly priced) drinks will be available for purchase.
Of course those that paid for last years (cancelled) event are an automatic registration.
FOR THE CATERING PURPOSES WE WILL NEED TO KNOW BY EARLY MAY IF YOU PLAN TO ATTEND TO BE SURE YOU WILL GET A FEED. PEOPLE CONFIRMING AFTER THAT TIME ARE VERY WELCOME BUT MIGHT HAVE TO PACK A SANDWICH.
