The Waszp is a singlehanded, one-design boat which is perfect for those new to foiling. Designed by Andrew McDougall, the Waszp offers affordable foiling on a robust boat.
The class is established in over 40 countries with over 1,200 sailors. It is a perfect platform for male and female sailors to compete on a level playing field and the performance of the boat is exceptional. It suits sailors from 30kg through to +90kg.
The construction is robust, and maintenance is made easy, there is extensive spare parts and support available from NZ Sailing in Silverdale.
Murrays Bay has one of the strongest Waszp fleets in the country.
